December 2002 and 2012

The photos above and below are from Christmas Eve, 2012. They show the Marinole Christmas Swan - Sparkle Plenty - designed and built by the late Vic Greimann. Surrounding the lake are 120 luminaries set up and lit by a small team of neighbors.

The photos below were take on Christmas Eve in 2002 - ten years ago. Carol Webb and Susan Sawyer organized a small crew of neighbors to place luminaries around the lake. These are some scenes from that expedition. (Photos by Evan and John Valassiades.)
